About Shiners Hope for Communities
Shiners hope for communities is a community based organization registered with the Ministry of culture and social services. It was founded on the grounds of necessity in the community to help the young people find meaning and purpose in life. It was started as a mentorship programme within a local church for primary and Secondary school students.
Our Focus
Our organization is people oriented. We believe that people are the greatest asset of any society. We therefore major in investing in people. We are committed to building a strong social fabric through our mentorship programme which goes beyond school life.
Our Achievements
Since it foundation, Shiners Hope for Communities has impacted many lives of young people. we have been able to see many young people who dropped out of school return to school and doing very well academically. We have helped many people overcome the drugs and substance abuse addiction.
Our Aspirations
Currently we have 327 students in various schools within Meru County. Our goal is to reach as many students as possible because we are well aware the need is high. We are targeting to be all over Kenya by 2025. We engage professional counselor and motivational/spiritual leaders in addressing our young people during major seminars and workshops.

OUR OBJECTIVES
S.H.F.C will offer assistance to the youth, pupils and students from local schools and will expand to involve out-of-school youths in various countries.
The Main objectives are as follows;-
a) To assist/help the needy pupils and the students in local schools by providing necessary items like sanitary pads to girls and paying their school fees. The target groups are those that are orphans, those affected by HIV/AIDS, heart attack, cancer drug and substance abuse including alcohol, prostitution and poverty among others.
b) To empower the youth, students and pupils to acquire necessary knowledge, protection and
improvement of the or lives for betterment of their lives.
c) To sensitize the young people, create awareness and address the problems that face them such as drug abuse, HIV/AIDS, poverty that leads to prostitution and offer an opportunity for them to participate in finding solution to these problems.
OUR ACTIVITIES
S.H.F.C shall involve the following activities;
a. Conduct meeting to donate items to the needy pupils and students in the communities.
b. Conduct seminars in the communities to educates and offer the youths an opportunity for
participating in finding solution for the problems that face them.
